Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Case No. C2-414 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under section 30(a) Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that merely on suspicion petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. Petitioner has no concern with liquor and motorcycle in question. None of the independent witness has supported the case of prosecution. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 09.08.2018. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.58287 of 2018(2) dt.28-09-2018 2/2 bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Sitamarhi in connection with Case No. C2-414 of 2018.
