JUSTICE PARTHA SARTHY ORAL JUDGMENT (Per: HONOURABLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE) Date : 07-02-2025 On a bare reading of this petition, we find that the accusation has been made against respondent No. 7, which is Bhabha Institute of Social Services, a cleaning agency which had bagged the contract for cleaning a hospital in question.

2. The averments made in the writ petition are that by submitting exaggerated bills, respondent No. 7 has been able to procure more money than the due.

3. From the own showing of the writ petitioner, it appears that the Civil Surgeon-cum-Chief Medical Officer, Saran has taken cognizance of the matter and has issued instructions down the line to start the process of recovery of money from the erring agency (respondent No. 7).

4. We have not received any reply or counter affidavit regarding the action taken against respondent No. 7.

5. We close this petition with a direction to the Civil Surgeon-cum-Chief Medical Officer, Saran-cumMember Secretary, District Health Society to ensure that the hospitals are cleaned properly and the agencies do not get paid on exaggerated bills. If at all some excess payment had been made to respondent No. 7, respondent No. 6 shall be under an obligation to have that recovered

6. With the aforenoted observation, the writ petition stands disposed off.
