JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 12-12-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner seeks bail in Piprahi P.S. Case No. 144 of 2018, registered for the offences punishable under Section 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner is husband of the deceased. Daughter of the informant was married with the petitioner on 30.05.2018. It is alleged that on 21.10.2018, all the accused persons including this petitioner committed murder of informant's daughter on account of non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. It is submitted by learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioner that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. Petitioner is in custody since 23.10.2018 having clean antecedent.

It appears that deceased died within five months of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.82667 of 2019(2) dt.12-12-2019 2/2 her marriage at her matrimonial home. Postmortem report also reveals that there was multiple external injuries on the person of the deceased. Petitioner happens to be husband of the deceased. Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that petitioner is husband of the deceased, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
