The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 456 of 2018 for the offence registered under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the entire case is one of civil dispute and the only role which has been ascribed to the petitioner is that he had negotiated the deed between the parties. It is further submitted that the petitioner has not received a single farthing and whatever was paid to him has already been paid to the land owner and, thereafter, the registered deed of sale was executed between the parties. No.84302 of 2019(2) dt.19-12-2019 2/2 further submitted that if at all there is any dispute between the vendor and the purchaser, it is open for them to seek appropriate legal recourse and there is no element of fraud as has been alleged against the petitioner. It is further submitted that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he may be extended the privilege of pre-arrest bail.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest/surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jehanabad in connection with Complaint Case No. 456 of 2018, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
