Petitioner is accused in connection with Excise Case No. 187 of 2019 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Excise Act.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that earlier prayer of the petitioner for bail was rejected by a Bench of this Court vide Cr. Misc. No. 46669 of 2019 on 05.08.2019 with observation that petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after six months, if no substantial progress is made in trial. He further submits that there is no progress in the trial and petitioner is in custody since 04.06.2019. Having considered the above facts and circumstances

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.76692 of 2019(3) dt.05-03-2020 2/2 of the case, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of 2nd Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Gopalganj in connection with Trial No. 3125 of 2019 arising out of Excise Case No. 187 of 2019.
