2. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a complaint case punishable for the offence under Sections 103

(1) , 61 ( 2 ), (3) and (5) of BNS.

3. It is a case of 'Dowry Death'. As per prosecution case, daughter of informant was married with co-accused Sadam Ali on 15.06.2015 , but some time after the marriage, daughter of informant was subject to cruelty and harassment due to nonfulfillment of dowry and lastly, these petitioners along with other co-accused persons killed daughter of informant.

4. Petitioner No. 1 is mother-in -law and petitioner

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.87129 of 2024(7) dt.25-07-2025 2/2 No. 2 is father-in -law of the deceased and have never committed torture or demanded any dowry . They are separate in mess and property and have got no concern with the affairs of couple . Allegation is general and omnibus against these petitioner and no specific overt act is alleged against them. 5 . However, learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of petitioners and submitted that there is specific allegation against these petitioners that they along with other co-accused persons committed torture to deceased for dowry and ultimately, they killed her.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case , both the anticipatory bail petitions stand dismissed. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) Koushik/- U T
