2. The petitioner's daughter was married to respondent No. 4, as has been stated in the writ application. The petitioner is seeking a direction to the respondents to recover his daughter from illegal confinement of respondent No. 4 and produce her before appropriate court of law. It is the petitioner's own case that there was strained matrimonial relationship between respondent No. 4 and his wife, the petitioner's daughter. It appears that a First Information Report has been registered on the basis of a written report of the informant giving rise to Kamtaul P.S. Case No. 18/2019, wherein it has been alleged that the petitioner's daughter

Patna High Court CWJC No.24508 of 2019 dt.10-12-2019 2/2 was found missing from 26.12.2018. As per the First Information Report, the petitioner learnt that his daughter has been sold to some unknown female.

3. Since the First Information Report has already been instituted, no direction is required. It cannot be the petitioner's case that his daughter is in illegal confinement of respondent No.

4. It is not known as to what happened in the criminal case.

4. In such circumstance, this writ application is disposed of with an observation that let Senior Superintendent of Police, Darbhanga, look into the matter and ensure expeditious conclusion of investigation.
