The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Birpur P.S. Case No. 300 of 2017 (S.T. Case No. 984 of 2017), registered for offence punishable under Sections 30(a) and 41(i) (ii) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. Further submission is that nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 26.09.2019. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, let the above-named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail
