2. It is submitted by the counsel for the petitioner that pursuant to the appointment order dated 30.06.1995, the petitioner joined his services on 05.07.1995 in district Kaimur and is still working there. The petitioner has got his second ACP after completion of 20 years of his services. According to the counsel as per the benefits of second ACP the petitioner is entitled to get monthly pay scale of Rs. 4600/- but he has been provided the pay scale of Rs. 4200/- only. The petitioner has already made a representation before the respondents vide Annexure P-2 dated 29.09.2024 which has not been decided yet and no decision has been taken by the respondent authorities. Therefore, it is prayed by the counsel that this petition may be disposed of directing the concerned authority i.e. respondent no.

Patna High Court CWJC No.48 of 2025(2) dt.10-01-2025 2/2 2 to decide the pending representation of the petitioner i.e. Annexure P-2 within any specific period fixed by this Court.

3. The above prayer made by the counsel is not opposed by the counsel for the respondent - State. It is informed by him that if this court directs then the representation of the petitioner will be decided by the competent authorities within eight weeks.

4. On the basis of submissions made by both the counsels, the petition is disposed of directing the respondent no. 2 to decide the pending application of the petitioner probably within eight weeks from the date of receiving the order in accordance with relevant rules and laws and pass a reasoned order.

5. With the aforesaid observation, this petition is disposed of.
