2. The petitioner has a grievance that he is entitled to compensation under Crop Insurance Scheme, which has not been extended to him by the authorities, whereas persons who are not eligible, have been given such benefit in illegal and arbitrary manner.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner may be allowed to approach the District Magistratecum-Collector, East Champaran, Motihari, raising his grievance, which he has raised in the present writ application.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this writ application is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to invoke provisions of Public Grievance Redressal Act, 2015, by making an application before appropriate Public Grievance Redressal Officer. If such application is filed, the same shall be disposed of in accordance with the provisions contained therein, and within the period prescribed under the said Act.
