JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 07-01-2025 The limited prayer made by the petitioner in the present case is to direct the District Magistrate, Patna to dispose off the application filed by the petitioner for grant of arms license on 04.03.2024, which has led to registration of Arms Application No. 43888 dated 06.09.2024.

Per contra, the learned counsel for the respondent-State submits that in case the aforesaid Arms Application No. 43888 dated 06.09.2024 is still pending, the same would

Having regard to the limited prayer made by the petitioner in the present writ petition, I deem it fit and proper to direct the District Magistrate, Patna to dispose off the aforesaid Arms Application No. 43888 dated 06.09.2024, in case the same is still pending consideration, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
