1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(I) For direction be issued to the respondent no 6 the Deputy Development Commissioner-cum-Chief Executive Officer to pay arrear of salary since 01.04.2007 till 31.12.2009 as per granting benefit of 6th pay revision Arrear of Gratuity and leave encashment accrue after benefit of 7th Pay Revision.

(II) For direction to the Respondent to pay 12% interest over the amount due

Patna High Court CWJC No.733 of 2024(2) dt.22-02-2024 2/2 since date of entitlement till date of payment."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Deputy Development Commissioner-Cum- Chief Executive officer, Zila Parishad, Patna for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. It is needless to state that in case appropriate petition is filed, by the petitioner, before the Deputy Development Commissioner-Cum- Chief Executive officer, Zila Parishad, Patna, within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be considered, in accordance with law and a reasoned and a speaking order shall be passed, thereon, within a period of six weeks, thereafter.

4. The present writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
