JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 25-06-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the State via video conferencing. By way of the present application, the petitioners have sought for pre-arrest bail in connection with Pakaridayal P.S. Case No.217 of 2019 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 341, 323, 307, 448, 504 of the Indian Penal Code and later on section 302 of the Indian Penal Code was added.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the serious nature of allegation made against the petitioners that they entered into the house of the informant and assaulted him and when his daughter Puja Kumari came to defend him, they

No.77586 of 2019(4) dt.25-06-2020 2/2 started assaulting her too, but on intervention of some neighbours they went back to their house and again after sometime they entered into the house of the informant and mercilessly assaulted his daughter and strangulated her, as a result of which, she became unconscious and was taken to hospital in a precarious condition at Pakridayal from where she was referred to Motihari Sadar Hospital for better treatment where she died, I am not inclined to grant pre-arrest bail to the petitioners. The application is rejected.
