Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of Bihar Excise (Prohibition) Amendment Act, 2016.

Petitioner was neither caught on the spot nor anything was recovered from his conscious possession. The name of petitioner was disclosed by co-accused who was caught on the spot.
