2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Khagaria P.S. Case No. 207 of 2022 dated 10.03.2022, lodged under Sections 395 and 397 of the I.P.C.

3. As per the prosecution case, the F.I.R. has been lodged against six unknown criminals. A day light dacoity was committed in Bandhan Bank, Khagaria by six unknown criminals, who looted more than Rs. 40 lakh and the arms of the guard. The name of the petitioner has figured in this case during investigation.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He further submits that petitioner is in custody since 09.08.2023 having four criminal antecedents.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the materials have come to connect the petitioner with the alleged crime.

6. Considering the facts and nature of allegation levelled against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and therefore, the present bail application is hereby rejected.

7. The Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial as early as possible.
