The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Prosecution case as lodged by the informant is that his daughter's marriage has been solemnized with Anil Das on 25.04.2019 and due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry, she has been killed by her husband and in-laws.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is the mother-in-law of the deceased and husband of the deceased is in jail. He submits that there is no allegation against the petitioner. He further submits that petitioner bears no criminal antecedent as stated in para-3 of the bail petition.

No.77671 of 2019(2) dt.28-11-2019 2/2 In the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the order, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M.-1, Gopalganj in connection with Mohammadpur Police Station Case No. 117 of 2019, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
