Counsel for the petitioner submits that a direction should be issued to examine the petitioner's claim for appointment as Assistant Teacher in light of the decision in LPA No. 670 of 1999 and C.W.J.C. No. 6226 of 2016. The petitioner's representation (Annexure 7) dated 16.05.2017 is pending

Patna High Court CWJC No.20575 of 2018 dt.20-12-2018 2/2 consideration before the Board. It is also submitted by counsel for the petitioner that the District Education Officer has also made similar recommendation in favour of the petitioner. However, his claim is not being considered.

In view of the limited grievance raised by the counsel for the petitioner, this Court would direct that the claim of the petitioner be considered by the respondent no. 6 expeditiously and preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order and appropriate orders may be passed in respect thereof in accordance with law. Writ petition is disposed off.
