2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for offence under Sections 341, 342, 323, 447, 387, 384, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. The prosecution case, in brief, is that this petitioner alongwith other co-accused persons, armed with lathi and stick, came to the house of informant and demanded extortion of Rs. 5 lacs for letting him to continue with construction work on his land and assaulted the workers over there and with aid of other accused persons forcibly snatched Rs. 10,000/- from Bijli Sahni.

Learned senior counsel for the petitioner submits that the alleged occurrence took place between the parties due to dispute over a piece of land, which, informant claimed to have purchased from one Binod Kumar, but real fact is that petitioner is legal owner of the said land, which was purchased by him on 23.09.2019, vide Deed No. 16651 and another sale-deed no. 16365, executed by Murari Yadav. Petitioner is in custody since 13.10.2023. Chargesheet has been submitted.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State and learned counsel for the informant vehemently opposed the bail petition.
6. Considering the nature of accusation and period of custody, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Gaya in connection with Bodhgaya P.S. Case No. 48 of 2020.
