2. With the consent of the parties, the present writ application is being disposed of at the stage itself.
3. In the present writ application, the petitioner has prayed for grant of the following relief(s).
" I). For issuance of a writ in the nature of Certiorari, for quashing and setting aside the impugned order bearing Memo No. PPU /EST /329/25 dated 16.09.2025, issued under the signature of the Registrar, Patliputra University, Patna (Respondent No. 3), whereby the services of the petitioner have
Patna High Court CWJC No.20337 of 2025(2) dt.17-12-2025 2/3 been withdrawn from his posting at Patliputra University, Patna, and he has been directed to report at B.D. College, Patna, as the same is arbitrary, unjust, discriminatory and violative of the principles of natural justice.
ii) For issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus, commanding the respondent authorities to allow the petitioner to continue to discharge his duties at Patliputra University, Patna, where he was validly deputed and has been serving efficiently without any complaint or adverse remark.
iii) For direction upon the respondent Patliputra University, Patna to consider the representation of petitioner dated 14.10.2025 and take a decision with regard to posting /absorption of the petitioner as has been done in the case of similarly situated persons vide letter no. 2844 dated 15.11.2021 forthwith and issue an appropriate consequential order accordingly."
4. After advancing some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for claiming the aforesaid relief, the petitioner has already filed a representation dated 14.10.2025 before the Registrar of respondent-University and as per the petitioner the same continues to be pending.
5. He, therefore, prays that an appropriate direction be issued to the Registrar of the respondent-University to dispose
Patna High Court CWJC No.20337 of 2025(2) dt.17-12-2025 3/3 of the pending representation of the petitioner within a fix time frame after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
6. To the aforesaid submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel appearing for the respondents-University does not have any objection.
7. Considering the limited nature of prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ application is disposed of directing the Registrar of the respondent-University to dispose of the pending representation of the petitioner, within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
8. Needless to emphasize that the final order which shall be passed by the Registrar of the respondent-University, should be a reasoned and speaking order.
9. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the present writ application stands disposed of.
10. Pending Interlocutory Application, if any, stands disposed of.
