Learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner informed this Court that during the pendency of the present writ petition pursuant to the order of this Court dated 02.07.2020, all the retiral dues payable to the petitioner has been paid. The petitioner is only aggrieved for non-payment of interest on group insurance at the rate of 12.5%.

3. Considering the aforesaid submission and information, the petitioner, if so desired, may file a detailed representation before the Registrar/Finance Officer of Veer Kunwar Singh University, Ara.

4. The Registrar of the university is directed to make payment of interest at the applicable rate of 12.5% on leave encashment or in case he denies the said claim, a reasoned order must be passed after giving due opportunity to the petitioner within a period of three weeks from the date of filing of the representation.

4. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
