2. The petitioner has invoked the jurisdiction of this Court seeking a direction upon the respondents, especially respondent nos. 1,2 and 3 to consider the case of the petitioner for her appointment on compassionate ground on account of unfortunate demise of her husband, who died in harness while

3. Learned Advocate for the petitioner contended that the petitioner got married on 25.02.2024 with the deceased employee. However, due to unfortunate demise of her husband, she left in extreme grief and penury compelling her to approach before the concerned Bank, with a request to consider her case for compassionate appointment. Referring to Annexure-5 to the writ petition, it is contended that the petitioner's father-in-law has been informed that one of the dependent shall be extended the benefit of compassionate appointment, if found fit. In view thereof, the petitioner has filed an application for appointment on compassionate ground, the copy of which has been marked as Annexure-4 Series to the writ petition.

4. Learned Advocate for the State, at this juncture, referring to the application has submitted that the application is not thoroughly filled up and accompanied with relevant necessary documents. However, a good gesture has been shown by him and submission has been made that if the petitioner shall file a complete application along with the necessary documents, certainly the same shall be considered by the Bank in terms of the applicable Bank's norms and rules.

Considering the limited grievance of the petitioner, this Court finds it apt and proper to dispose of the writ petition with a liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh application along with the necessary relevant documents for appointment on compassionate ground, preferably within a period of four weeks from today.

6. In case such an application is filed within the period stipulated, the same shall be considered and disposed of in accordance with applicable norms and rules, governing the matter of compassionate appointment, within a further period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of the application.

7. The writ petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid directions.
