2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with S.Tr. No. 595 of 2024 arising out of Laheri P.S. Case No. 442 of 2023, lodged on 16.07.2023, under Sections 341, 323, 307, 326, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act, and later on Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code was also added.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the bail application of the petitioner has earlier been rejected vide order dated 02.04.2024, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 20737 of 2024.

4. Counsel further submits that the petitioner is in custody since 24.07.2023. Counsel further submits a report regarding present stage of the trial was called for and from the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.87837 of 2024(4) dt.11-04-2025 2/2 said report it transpires that the trial is pending for prosecution evidence.

5. Learned counsel for the Informant vehemently opposes the prayer for bail and submits that summons of witnesses have been issued and the trial is likely to be concluded within six months.

6. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the criminal antecedents of the petitioner are not clean, as there are five criminal cases pending against him.

7. In the present facts and circumstances of this case and the submissions made above, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Therefore, the bail application of the petitioner is hereby rejected.
