Learned counsel for the petitioner has stated that the petitioner had completed the work entrusted to him in the year 2021 but the authorities have paid the amounts due only in the year 2023, i.e., with delay of three years without paying any interest. Learned counsel has stated that petitioner has borrowed the amount from various sources and has been paying interest on the borrowed amount. That in case the authorities do not pay the interest on the delayed payment of amount he will

3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Respondent-State has submitted that the petitioner may be directed to give a suitable representation to the authority concerned and the same shall be considered in accordance with law and necessary action taken.

4. Having regard to the same the present Writ Petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to file a suitable representation ventilating his grievance within a period of four weeks from today. On such representation being made, the authorities are directed to consider the said representation in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of the representation from the petitioner. In case the claim of the petitioner is found to be genuine, the authority shall make necessary arrangements for payment of the interest on the delayed payment of the admitted amount. That in case the claim of the petitioner is rejected they shall specify the reason for such rejection. Any orders passed shall be communicated to the parties

5. With the aforesaid directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of.
