The petitioner is an accused in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged that the petitioner and other accused persons assaulted the informant's son with lathi, danda etc. who succumbed to the injuries on the spot.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case as the victim might have died of the injuries caused due to his fall on the road. Petitioner is in custody since 8.7.2019 and he has got no criminal antecedent.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail. He submits that the Post mortem report supports the prosecution case.
