2. The petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 126(2), 115(2), 118(1), 109, 137(2), 62, 351(2) and 3(5) of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, on the alleged date and time of the occurrence, while the informant was sitting at his house, all the FIR named accused persons including this petitioner came there on a motorcycle and tried to kidnap his minor grandson and on protest, petitioner and co-accused Pappu Paswan assaulted the victim by means of knife causing him grievous injuries.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the parties are co-villagers and due to land dispute, petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. F.I.R. has been lodged after delay of three days without any explanation

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.88594 of 2024(3) dt.25-02-2025 2/2 which renders the entire prosecution case doubtful. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the fact that one of the injuries caused to the victim, was grievous in nature, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
