Patna High Court CWJC No.168 of 2020(7) dt.08-08-2022 3/3 08-08-2022 After some arguments, the parties agree that the petitioners' claim for being granted promotion as Administrative Officer by allowing them relaxation of Kalawadhi is pending by Annexure-11 series.
The learned senior counsel representing power holding company, submits that in view of general bar on grant of promotion by the State Government, for the moment, it could not be possible to consider the petitioners' claim. Since the issue is yet to be considered by the authorities, matter does not require any adjudication in the instant proceedings. Keeping the matter pending would serve no useful purpose, writ application is, therefore, disposed of. Authorities should consider the petitioners' claim raised in Annexure-11 series expeditiously, in accordance with law, subject to lifting of the bar on grant of promotion as submitted by learned senior counsel.
