The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that 25 liters of illicit country made liquor was recovered from the dickey of motorcycle bearing registration no.Jh-03L-3790. He further submits that the motorcycle does not belong to the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner in custody since 16.10.2019 and has got clean antecedent.

No. 77873 of 2019(2) dt.29-11-2019 2/2 petitioner above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-VII-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Aurangabad in connection with Excise Case No.1242 of 2019, subject to condition that the petitioner will deposit Rs.5,000/- (five thousand) in the Civil Court, Aurangabad/Nazarath, such deposit of Rs.5,000/- (five thousand) shall abide by the outcome of the present criminal case.
