The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Laheri P.S. Case No.355 of 2016 registered for the offence punishable under Section 302 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Considering the inordinate and unexplained delay of 23 days in institution of the first information report as also the reasons assigned in the order dated 16.01.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No.991 of 2018 as contained in Annexure-2 to the present application whereby co-accused Sujeet Kumar was granted prearrest bail by this Court, in the event of arrest or surrender in the court below within a period of six weeks from today, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of
