JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 17-10-2024 Though the present writ petition has been filed for quashing the order dated 25.02.2019, passed by the learned District Magistrate, Rohtas at Sasaram in Arms Case No.139/2012-19 whereby and whereunder the application of the petitioner for grant of arms licence has been rejected, however, at the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to challenge the aforesaid order dated 25.02.2019, passed by the learned District Magistrate, Rohtas at Sasaram in Arms Case No. 139/2012-19, by filing appropriate appeal. Liberty so sought is granted.

2. It is needless to state that in case appropriate appeal is filed by the petitioner, within a period of four weeks

Patna High Court CWJC No.537 of 2020(3) dt.17-10-2024 2/2 from today, the appellate authority shall consider the same on merits, without being impeded by the issue of limitation and shall pass a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, forthwith.
