It is the petitioner's case that a proceeding for removal of encroachment from public land was, though, initiated by the Circle Officer, Barbigha, with registration of Encroachment Case No. 01/2019-20, till date, no substantial progress has been made. The petitioner is said to have approached the District Magistrate, Sheikhpura, in this regard.

3. In the facts and circumstances of the case as narrated in the writ application, the application is disposed of with a direction that let Circle Officer, Barbigha, conclude the
