2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that father of the petitioner namely Ram Raj was working as a sweeper under the respondent no. 6 and due to harness he died on 28.10.2010. After the death of his father initially an application for grant of compassionate appointment was filed by the mother of the petitioner which was pending and during the pendency of the application, the petitioner attained

Patna High Court CWJC No.19283 of 2024(2) dt.03-01-2025 2/2 his majority and after that he himself filed an application for grant of compassionate appointment vide Annexure P-2 on 25.04.2015 and till date the application is pending and not decided by the competent authority. It is prayed by the counsel that the petition may be disposed of, directing the respondent no. 6 to consider and decide the same as early as possible within any specific period fixed by this Court.

3. The above prayer made by the counsel is not opposed by the counsel for the respondent no. 6 as well as counsel for respondent - State.

4. Considering the submissions made by both the counsels this petition is disposed of, directing the respondent no. 6 to consider and decide the representation made by the petitioner vide Annexure P-2 dated 25.04.2015 as early as possible probably within 45 days from today in accordance with relevant rules and laws.

5. With the aforesaid observation, this petition is disposed of.
