The present writ petition has been preferred for: "quashing the letter issued by the Deputy Secretary, Revenue and Land Reforms Department vide memo no. 1082/Ra dated 12.4. 23 (contained in Annexure-P2) so far as it relates to the demand of the Registration fee ete., from the settle of the regarding the settlement of the hat and for quashing the letter dated 27.4.23 vide memo no. 453 (contained in Annexure-P3,) issued

Patna High Court CWJC No.18445 of 2023(2) dt.04-05-2026 2/2 to the petitioner directing the petitioner to pay the value of the Stamp (Rs. 2,07,780/) and the Registration fee of (Rs. 69,260/-) within three days of the receipt of the letter in the circumstances set forth below."

A counter-affidavit has come on behalf of the respondent nos. 4 and 5 duly signed by the Circle Officer, Sonbarsa, Sitamarhi and from perusal of the different paragraphs show that since the petitioner has complied with notice and deposited the requisite stamp fee and registration fee on 10.03.2025 and as such, the grievance raised no longer survives and it has become infructuous.

4. In that background, allowing the petitioner to further take steps in accordance with law, the writ petition is disposed of.
