2. The petitioner is in custody since 07.09.2023 in connection with Harnaut P.S. Case No. 287/2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the unknown criminals looted Rupees Five Lakhs Fifty Thousand from the informant posing as police.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner is not named in the F.I.R., his name surfaced during the course of investigation. He next submits that nothing incriminating has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

5. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail. He submits that materials have come during the investigation to connect this petitioner with the crime. He also submits that the petitioner is accused in ten more cases of similar and serious nature.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the allegations levelled against the petitioner, this application for grant of bail is dismissed.
