The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Garkha Police Station Case No.389 of 2018 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30, 30(A), 38 and 41 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. In this case, name of the petitioner surfaced in the confessional statement of co-accused. Petitioner has got identical criminal antecedent registered under the provision of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.
Submission is that co-accused has been granted anticipatory bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court. Considering the criminal antecedent of the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.64034 of 2018(2) dt.07-12-2018 2/2 petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner, above named on anticipatory bail. Hence, prayer is refused. (Birendra Kumar, J) abhishek/- U T
