2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Baisi P.S. Case No. 227 of 2024 for the offence under sections 318(4) of the B.N.S. lodged on 14.08.2024 by the informant, Dhirendra Prasad Saha.

3. As per the prosecution story, the informant alleged that in the garb of providing the products of Patanjali, they wanted to clean the bronze, copper and other utensils. Later, they demanded and wanted gold earing as also the diamond ring to be cleaned. They later escaped with said ornaments. This led to the FIR.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is belated FIR, though he has criminal antecedent, no case

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.88373 of 2024(3) dt.08-05-2025 2/2 against him is made out.

5. Learned APP has taken this Court to the order of learned Sessions Judge to show that the 82 Cr.P.C. process has already been initiated against him and he has also criminal antecedent.

6. Taking into account the submissions of the parties as also the criminal charges made in the FIR coupled with the fact that process has been issued as recorded above, in that background, no relief can be granted.

7. The anticipatory bail stands rejected.
