The instant application for regular bail has been filed by the petitioner in connection with Taraiyan P.S. Case No. 317 of 2021 instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Earlier the application for regular bail of the petitioner was rejected by order dated 17.04.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 57042 of 2022 with an observation to learned trial court to expedite and conclude the trial. In pursuance to the direction of this Court, a report, dated 31.01.2024, with regard to present stage of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.818 of 2024(3) dt.09-02-2024 2/2 trial has been received and the same is kept at flag 'A'. From its perusal it appears that the trial may be concluded within a period of eight months.

No fresh ground is made for reconsideration of the regular bail of the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for grant of regular bail is rejected.

Accordingly, petition stands disposed off.

However, learned trial court is directed to conclude the trial within 6 months., failing which, the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer of bail.
