The petitioner seeks bail in Paroo P.S. Case No. 353/2018, instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that it is alleged in the written report that on getting confidential information, police reached at the house of this petitioner but did not recover anything. It is further alleged that 16.14 litres of illicit liquor was recovered from a maize field of different person situated far behind his house. Petitioner is said to be in custody since 19.09.2018.
Considering the aforesaid fact and circumstances,
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.65597 of 2018 (2) dt.05-11-2018 2/2 prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise, Muzaffarpur in connection with Paroo P.S. Case No. 353/2018, subject to the conditions that both the bailors shall be the close relative of the petitioner.
