Learned counsel for the petitioner has placed reliance on the order passed by the Apex Court in the case of Supriya Suresh Patil @ Sow Supriya Pratik Kadam Vs. The State of Maharashtra & Ors. (Civil Appeal No. 5216 of 2018). The Apex Court in that case has categorically held that this order shall not be treated as a precedent, as the order has been passed under Article 142 of the Constitution of India. Considering the fact that the father of the petitioner died in 1977, the Court does not feel persuaded to grant any
