The petitioner is in custody in connection with Balthar P.S. Case No. 82 of 2019 for the offenses under Sections 8 and 20 of the NDPS Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent. In the instant case total 6 kg Ganja was seized. The petitioner is in custody since 14.9.2019.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Let the petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/-(Twenty five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.82740 of 2019(3) dt.18-03-2020 2/2 the District and Sessions Judge, West Champaran at Bettiah in connection with Balthar P.S. Case No. 82 of 2019, subject to the condition that immediately after release the petitioner shall report to the Civil Surgeon, West Champaran at Bettiah so that his services may be utilized as volunteer in the District Health Centre, Bettiah for a period of one month.
