The instance application for regular bail has been filed by the petitioner in connection with Gwalpara P.S. Case No. 144 of 2020 instituted for the offence under Sections 341, 323, 302, 504, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Earlier, the application for regular bail of the petitioner was rejected by order dated 19.04.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 71760 of 2023.

In pursuance to the direction of the Court, a Report with regard to present stage of trial has been received on 19.01.2024 from which it appears that, out of nine charge

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.1618 of 2024(3) dt.09-02-2024 2/2 sheeted witnesses, not a single prosecution witness has been examined till now rather summons to the prosecution witnesses have been issued in this case. And trial Court had sought one year to conclude the trial.

No fresh ground is made for reconsideration of the regular bail application of the petitioner. Accordingly, this application is rejected.

The bail application stands disposed of.

However, learned trial Court is directed to expedite and conclude the trial within six months, failing which the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail application. (Sunil Kumar Panwar, J) Manishkr/- U T
