The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Rampur Case No. 348 of 2019, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 489(A), 489(B), 489( C), 489(D), 489(E) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

The allegation is regarding recovery of note printing machine, counterfeit notes etc. from the government quarter of one Lakhan Das and the petitioner is stated to have been arrested while he was present in the said quarter. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.81106 of 2019(2) dt.16-12-2019 2/2 case, he is a washer-man, who used to wash the clothes of the persons of the locality in question and he is having a clean antecedent. It is further submitted that the petitioner is languishing in custody since 28.9.2019 and he is ready to abide by such conditions as may be deemed fit and proper to be imposed by this Court.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to enlarge the petitioner on regular bail.

Accordingly, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge Excise, Gaya in connection with Rampur P.S. Case No. 348 of 2019. It is further directed that the petitioner would mark his attendance before the Officer-in-Charge of the concerned police station at 10:30 am. on each Monday of the week and in the event of two consecutive defaults, the present privilege of the regular bail shall stand cancelled automatically.
