The petitioner is accused in connection with Excise Case No. 684 of 2019, registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Excise Act.

The accusation is of recovery of 380 pouches each containing 200 ml from the Tempo, which was being driven by the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is the driver of the Tempo and the bag containing illicit liquor was kept by the passengers in the Tempo. It is further submitted that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 20.10.2019.

No.79754 of 2019(2) dt.05-12-2019 2/2 Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Special Judge Excise Act, Gaya, in connection with Excise Case No. 684 of 2019.
