Earlier the anticipatory bail application of the petitioner was rejected by this Court on 13.10.2023 in Cr. Misc. No.59997 of 2023. Now, the petitioner has filed this second anticipatory bail application.

In view of the decision of the Supreme Court in the case of G.R. Ananda Babu vs. State of Tamil Nadu and Another reported in 2021 SCC Online SC 176, this second anticipatory bail application is not maintainable and it is accordingly, dismissed.

However, if the petitioner surrenders before the learned

No.88374 of 2024(2) dt.31-01-2025 2/2 Court below within six weeks from today and seeks regular bail, the learned Court below shall pass order on the same day in accordance with law without being prejudiced by this order keeping in view the judgment of the Apex Court in the case of Satendra Kumar Antil v/s. Central Bureau of Investigation & Anr. reported in (2022) 10 SCC 51.
