Petitioner seeks bail in Excise Case No.717 of 2019 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Petitioner was intercepted while he was carrying liquor on his TVS Luna bearing registration no.UP 67U 8250 and 16.890 litres Indian made foreign liquor was recovered from the bag.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in jail since 28.09.2019 for recovery of about 17 litres of liquor.

Having considered the facts, the petitioner named above is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.82812 of 2019(2) dt.13-12-2019 2/2 of Rs.10,000/-(rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge III-cum-Special Judge, Kaimur at Bhabua in connection with Excise Case No.717 of 2019 arising out of P.R. No.26 of 2019-20.
