Petitioner after working for nearly three decades as Assistant teacher has superannuated on 28.2.2019. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that under the Assured Carrier Progression Scheme, the petitioner was entitled to ACP with effect from 13.2.2001 but the same denied notwithstanding that petitioner has approached the respondents on different occasions.

Considering the fact that petitioner has now superannuated, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction

Patna High Court CWJC No.24375 of 2019(2) dt.14-02-2020 2/2 to the respondents to take appropriate decision with regard to the claim of the petitioner for grant of ACP positively within a period of sixty days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order and grant all consequential benefits of such promotion within the same time.
