JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 19-12-2019 The petitioner has approached this Court for quashing of the certificate proceeding vide Certificate Case No. 1536/2017-18 making the petitioner liable for payment of Rs. 20,24, 542/-.

It appears from the records and from the submissions advanced on behalf of the petitioner that an objection petition has already been filed under Section 9 of the Bihar and Orissa Public Demand Recovery Act, 1914.

The certificate officer is directed to dispose of such objection petition in accordance with law within a reasonable period of time. Thereafter, if the petitioner remains aggrieved he shall have the opportunity of challenging such order in accordance with law. With the aforesaid direction/observation, the writ petition stands disposed of.
