1. The writ petition is filed for the following relief(s):

"(A) A writ in the nature of mandamus to direct the respondents to make payment of Rs. 8,88,480/- (Eight lacs eighty eight thousand four hundred eighty rupees only) to the petitioner on account of 26 animals kept by him in his Animal (Maveshi) fatak, which were seized by the Gobardhana Police in Gobardhana Police case no. 19/16 dated 3.8.2016 and handed over to the petitioner to look after and proper care. These

(B) Or any other appropriate writ/writs, order/orders, direction/directions which your lordships may deem fit and proper."

At the outset, the Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that a representation dated 31.05.2017 (Annexure-8) was filed before the Executive Officer, Bagaha Municipality, West Champaran, i.e. respondent No. 5 for redressal of his grievance. However, till date, no decision has been taken on the said representation. Therefore, he prayed for a direction to the Executive Officer, Bagaha Municipality, West Champaran 5th respondent, to consider and dispose of the said representation.

3. No one appears for the Bagaha Municipality.

4. Therefore, without going into the merits or demerits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Executive

Patna High Court CWJC No.21567 of 2018 dt.09-09-2025 3/3 Officer, Bagaha Municipality, West Champaran 5th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.05.2017 on merits in accordance with law after granting a reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the concerned parties, and shall pass an appropriate speaking order.

5. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

6. With the above observation, the Writ petition stands disposed of.

7. Interlocutory Application(s), if any, shall stand disposed of.
