The issue involved in the present writ petition is declaration of the petitioner as life donor member of Senate of Lalit Narayan Mithila University.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has donated Rs. 1,01,001/- and in terms of the University Statute he is eligible to be declared as life donor member but the matter is pending in the office of the Hon'ble Chancellor.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the University that necessary formality was completed and

In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of with a request to the Hon'ble Chancellor to expedite the matter and take appropriate decision with regard to the claim of the petitioner for declaring him as life donor member at the earliest preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this order.
