The present writ petition has been filed for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to make necessary correction in date of birth of the petitioner in his service records pursuant to Memo No.739 dated 08.05.2023 by which the respondent No.3 has asked the petitioner and four others to submit educational certificate for necessary correction in the date of birth.

3. Learned Counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that for correction in the date of birth he has filed application before the Commandant Home Guard (respondent No.3) on

Patna High Court CWJC No.329 of 2025(2) dt.21-01-2025 2/2 11.11.2024 but till date no decision has been taken.

4. Learned Counsel for the State submits that since his representation is pending, therefore, a direction may be given for disposal of his representation.

5. Considering the entire factual matrix, this writ petition is hereby disposed of directing respondent No.3 to dispose off his writ petition within 90 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
