Petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in connection with Shikarpur P.S. Case No. 266 of 2018 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 414, 420, 467, 468, 471/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Informant who is the Police officer has alleged that he got secret information that stolen Bolero vehicle has been kept at Binbalia More for sale, thereafter he along with police party reached there and apprehended the petitioner with white colour Bolero vehicle and on demand of paper of seized Bolero, petitioner could not produced any paper regarding ownership of the said vehicle.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.66679 of 2018(2) dt.22-11-2018 2/2 he is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this only on suspicion. Petitioner is only driver of Vikash Rai and on instruction of the employer the petitioner was driving the said vehicle and was not aware that the vehicle in question was stolen one. He has no criminal antecedent. He is in custody since 16.06.2018.

Considering the aforesaid fact and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner named above be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Shikarpur P.S.
